Free of Cost Services

The following services are provided Free of Cost to eligible beneficiaries as per Government of Odisha guidelines:

• Blood for eligible Government scheme beneficiaries.

• Blood for Thalassemia patients.

• Blood for Sickle Cell Disease patients.

• Blood for Maternal Emergency Cases.

• Blood for eligible accident and emergency patients as per Government norms.

• Voluntary Blood Donation Registration and Counselling.

(Blood issue is subject to applicable Government rules and eligibility criteria.)

Who Can Donate Blood?

• Healthy individuals aged 18–65 years

• Body weight 45 kg or above

• Hemoglobin as per eligibility criteria

• Free from major illness or infection

• Interval of at least 3 months since the last whole blood donation

Why Donate Blood?

• One blood donation can save up to three lives.

• Blood cannot be manufactured—it can only come from voluntary donors.

• Regular voluntary blood donation ensures lifesaving blood is available during emergencies.
